Family Float Trip

Minimum number is 4 people. After a quick safety briefing we push out to the river above the rapid ‘Jaws’ a big volume grade 2+ rapid which will get us wet and the adrenaline pumping! Pyramid rapid (Grade 2) and the grade 1 ‘Giggitty Giggitty’ rapid are next before we float and meander our way down the river, taking our time to swim and enjoy the riverine life and the nature around us. A 6km section of river in total we take out just above the big grade 5 rapids of ‘Overtime’ and ‘The Dutchman’. Combine this trip with a brunch or lunch at The Haven lodge which is right next door to our end point, or we will transport you back to Jinja. This trip will combine the logistics of our whitewater trips as a standard - which means sticking to the timings as stated on this page.
