Between the villages you will enjoy scenic train rides along the Ligurian coastline. A relaxing boat ride is also included between 2 of the villages so you can enjoy stunning views of the Cinque Terre from the water. Wander the narrow streets, admire the colourful houses or take the chance to swim in the turquoise water.
A multi-course lunch paired with the aromatic, mineral wine of Cinque Terre will be served in a restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean sea. Cinque Terre remains Italy's most difficult area to cultivate due to unfriendly environmental conditions. Dive into traditional Ligurian food and local specialties, such as seafood dishes and pasta with pesto!
Our driver will normally be at your address at 6.45am. We will then drive to La Spezia train station which will take approximately 2 hours.

The name comes from the major river that used to run through the town. Riomaggiore is famous for its small harbour, its tall, colorful houses and colourful fishing boats.
Manarola gets its name from a large wheel (Magna Rota) that used to power the mill in the village. Manarola is famous for its tight alleyways running up into the terraces behind the colourful houses in the harbour.
Is the smallest of the 5 villages and is situated 100 meters above sea-level. To get to Corniglia, you can climb the Lardarina, a 383-step pathway from the train station to the village or you can catch one of the regular buses.
Here you can visit the beautiful church of Santa Margherita in the main square, or visit the Tower of Castello Dorio, home to the most amazing view of Cinque Terre. Lunch will be arranged by your guide and will be taken between 12.00pm and 1.00pm. Lunch will include local seafood dishes and fresh pasta as well as a glass or two of local wine.
Monterosso al Mare is the largest out of the five coastal villages. The village is located on hills cultivated with lemons, vines and olives. From here, you will take a scenic boat ride to the next village Riomaggiore.
Depending on time, weather and other factors, your experienced guide will arrange a boat trip between two of the villages. This trip will take you out into the Ligurian Sea and offer incredible views of the five lands from the water. Please note, on rare occasions boats may not run due to conditions at sea.
