Cycling Around Sigiriya

Here you get the best view over the historical Sigiriya and Pidurangla rocks. Enjoy some refreshments provided by the cycling team before you start the next part of your village cycle experience.

Riders will be able to take some beautiful photos from different angles of Sigiriya rock. ( we will NOT enter to the Sigiriya archeological site)

We will be riding passing rice paddies, farming lands such as sweet potato plantations, finger millet fields, and seasonal fruit plants. Stop at a farmhouse to experience the warm hospitality of the villages. Your cycle guide will help you with the translation to communicate with the farmers. Continue the ride along an irrigation canal while stopping at some beautiful lakes and landscapes.
