TUNNEL ABSEILING PLUS tour the underground
We descend the vertical natural rock and enter the high underground rooms built in concrete. We begin our walk through the fort accompanied by special audio-visual surprise that will take us back in time. Since the facility was built on two levels, there is another abseil for the participants of the Abseil Plus tour. This tour takes you into the turbulent past of Rijeka, and not just anywhere but exactly to the locations where that past took place. The tour of historical sites is also a trip to nature, where you can enjoy stunning views of the city. The focal point of the tour is a series of under- and above-ground fortresses that were built in the 30s of the 20th century as the defense of the then borders. With their construction and location, the fortresses are a masterpiece of military engineering of their era. There are two important varieties of truffles: white truffle (Tuber Magnatum) and black truffle (Tuber Melanosporum). During the 18th century, it was connected to the mainland by filling in the channel. last few decades, Rovinj has become one of the most famous tourist destinations in Croatia attracting large numbers of tourists Annually. The relics of Saint Euphemia interred in the church at the top of the hill that dominates the entire city. Euphemia was a Christian lady, daughter of a Roman senator, who was arrested for refusing to offer sacrifices to the god Ares. After suffering various tortures, she was sentenced to death in the gladiatorial arena at Chalcedon, having been killed by a lion, becoming one of the first Christian martyrs, a saint in both catholic and orthodox beliefs. Croatian town is webbed with tangled cobbled streets, small squares, beautiful houses tightly crowded down to the seafront, highlighted by the tall church tower.
