A day aboard the Rosie Probert Too is an experience to remember; a professional crew, an iconic boat, the sun, the sea of the Pisan Coast. After a suggestive river navigation that allows us to appreciate the wild nature of the Natural Park of San Rossore, we take to the sea and sailing along the Pisan Coast we arrive on the Secche della Meloria, Marine Protected Area, where we go from the bottom of the anchor near the ancient tower built by the Marine Republic of Pisa in the eleventh century. You stay on the Secche for about 5 hours during which there is the opportunity to snorkel to appreciate the beautiful seabed. Pietrasanta is part of Versilia, on the last foothills of the Apuan Alps. The town has Roman origins and part of the Roman wall still exists. The medieval town was founded in 1255 upon the pre-existing "Rocca di Sala" fortress of the Lombards by Luca Guiscardo da Pietrasanta, from whom it got its name. Pietrasanta was at its height a part of the Republic of Genoa (1316–1328). We will drive to Pisa, known in the world for its famous Leaning Tower ( it's not the only one!)... Piazza dei cavalieri and then we will drive back to the port.
