A recent association of Digital Empowerment Foundation with UNESCO and IHCN initiated an objective to classify and document the entire heritage, culture and tourism of Chanderi. Chanderi is also famous for its hand-woven Chanderi sarees. It is a renowned centre for traditional weavers of saree.
