Wixárika Indigenous Blessing: Sacred Walk in Nature

s (White Deer) and Jair, who will welcome you and provide a brief introduction to the experience. From there, you’ll walk through jungle, beaches, and gentle hills toward a sacred area home to four Sacred Places of great importance to the Wixárika community of Sayulita. Along the way, you'll learn about their history, culture, and worldview, as well as their deep connection with nature and the land. This experience is the result of a collaboration between XIQUIAN and Santos, created to contribute to the preservation and transmission of Wixárika culture in Sayulita and to foster respectful cultural exchange. We invited you to approach this experience with openness, and sensitivity, recognizing that the Wixárika worldview has its own beliefs and ways of understanding the world. Come to listen, learn, and respect a living tradition, while appreciating the community's deep relationship with its surroundings.
