This beautifully preserved castle dates back to the 14th century. It was created by the Scaligeri family to defend Verona, and features a rare medieval port. The castle is also known for the legend of Ebengardo’s ghost, who is said to haunt its grounds in search of his wife

The town of Sirmione is known as the 'Pearl of Lake Garda', and is located on a peninsula stemming from the southern half of the lake. Visitors to Sirmione enjoy the stunning views of Lake Garda.

One of the largest churches in Sirmione, this building dates back to the 15th century. It is dedicated to Saint Mary.

Enjoy a stop at the pier on this fabulous beach on the shore of Lake Garda. Don't forget to take lots of pictures!

Today, while it is in ruins, its grandeur can still be felt with its incredible architecture and mosaics floors. A large olive grove surrounds the area and some olive trees are centuries old.
