Getting started

Enter Sea World Ancol and begin exploring its themed aquarium displays, each designed to create a distinct atmosphere while introducing visitors to the characteristics and unique features of different aquatic species. Information panels accompanying the displays provide additional details about the biota you encounter.

What to expect

• Discover around 7,300 freshwater biotas across 48 fish species and one reptile species, alongside approximately 11,500 marine specimens representing 138 fish and invertebrate species and three

• The biota are presented across freshwater aquariums, saltwater aquariums, and open pools, with each display featuring its own theme and educational information about the species on view.

• At the main aquarium, two divers take part in a feeding presentation, including a spectacle where mermaids feed on seaweed from the divers' hands while eels compete for food.

• The Touch Pool offers an opportunity to interact with marine biota, adding a hands-on element to the educational experience.

• Visit the museum showcasing preserved deep-sea creatures, including the Coelacanth, also known as the King of the Sea.

• Selected ticket options combine Sea World Ancol with Samudra Ancol or Jakarta Bird Land. You can choose a single-attraction ticket or a combination that covers multiple Ancol attractions.
