Atop of Cova crater you will have breathtaking views of the immense lush green valley below. From up here, the air is fresh, and you can smell the vegetation, listen and you will hear the sounds of the small farming communities below. This vally has been home to people for generations, sustaining life on the Islands; you will Pass small villages of people with their plantations, farmers live here, men, woman, children even animals all have a role in the village and here you will witness how they make it all come together.

Hike into ancient Volcano Crater of Cova de Paul, one of the most stunning places on Cape Verde. Experience the authentic lifestyle and hospitality of the people on the Island of the Mountains as you pass through villages on your walk, Witness the vegetation and farming of the most fertile valley on the Cabo Verde Island

Our local rum, Grogue is produced here, visit the distillery to see how it’s made.
