There was a huge volcano in the middle of the lake. After the eruption, the Magma room, under the volcano, has collapsed then it became a Caldera Lake. This lake is the second largest lake in New Zealand as a Caldera. You will stop by here for 15 mins for photo taking.

This forest is the film location of the 'Jurrasic World 2'. You will walk around the trek for half an hour. It is a really lovely forest in New Zealand.
