Rafting, and more generally whitewater navigation, are among the unmissable activities of a successful stay in the Pyrenees. If we add a night of bivouac and a local cheese raclette by the fire, dream and reality merge, to the greatest pleasure of all!
Located in the heart of the Argelès-Gazost Valley, the Gave de Pau is an ideal river to familiarize yourself with whitewater bivouacs. We will start in the heart of the mountains and gradually descend to the plain, for a total of 40km.
Going on a bivouac means going on an adventure. If the level of comfort of a night in the great outdoors can be unpredictable, the kindness and experience of our team will ensure you have an exceptional moment, which will remain engraved in your memory for a long time.
ur team invites you to discover the joy of autonomy on the river! During these 40km of gentle roaming, you will discover the fauna and flora of the Pyrenees, experience whitewater navigation in complete safety and learn some technical gestures specific to nautical bivouacs. In the evening, you will enjoy a tasty Pyrenean raclette around a campfire and share your most beautiful stories with your adventure companions and your instructors. Your night will continue in a hammock under the stars (the tent being provided in case of bad weather)! After waking up early to the sound of birdsong, followed by a delicious homemade breakfast, you will leave happy and full of enthusiasm to attack the rapids until your arrival, scheduled for midday. Ideal for: adventurers, sports enthusiasts, nature enthusiasts, authenticity enthusiasts and magic lovers…
