It is so fun to enjoy the desert explore in Xiangshawan or Whistling Dune Bay in English, which is part of the huge Kubuqi Desert, 210km away in the south of Hohhot. It is a desert fun place with many entertainments, including cable car, desert cart, camel-riding, sand-sliding way, and desert train etc. Moreover, there are dancing performance and acrobatic show in the desert resort theater. You can select the tour with guide or without guide. Please note the driver speaks only Chinese when you select the tour without guide, but the driver can use cell phone to translate when it is necessary. Pickup from your centrally located Hohhot hotel is at 8am.

What you'll do

At 8am, you will be picked up from your centrally located Hohhot hotel, then tak
e 2.5-hour car ride to the Xiangshawan Desert, or Whistling Dune Bay in English, which is part of the huge Kubuqi Desert. There are two parts here for tourist to enjoy the camel-riding, cable car, and desert car etc. which are included in the entrance tickets. In the afternoon, you will take the car back to your Hohhot hotel where the wonderful day tour concludes.
