Porto Legends: Immersive Experience and Metaverse

Your experience

Discover Porto’s legends across three formats: watch them unfold around you, become one of their characters, and enter their virtual world.

Getting started

Arrive at Furnas da Alfândega do Porto and enter its underground setting. Your 60-minute experience begins with an audiovisual introduction to the stories and folklore that have shaped the city’s identity.

What to expect

Ten Porto legends in 360°

Watch 10 of Porto’s legends unfold through 360° projections, animation, music, colors, and visual effects. Pedro Abrunhosa narrates the Portuguese version, while Jeremy Irons narrates the English version.

An AI character transformation

After the audiovisual show, use artificial intelligence to transform yourself into one of the Porto Legends characters. You’ll also receive a video of your transformation to take home.

A mission inside the metaverse

Enter a location-based virtual reality (LBVR) metaverse where the stories become explorable environments. Interact with the virtual space and solve challenges on a mission connected to Porto’s memory and intangible heritage.
