What to expect
Medieval Torture Museum
This attraction spans a 5,000-square-foot space filled with detailed installations focused on medieval justice and punishment. You move through rooms that use scale, lighting, and lifelike figures to show how more than 100 devices were used in practice.
Features
• Over 100 historically accurate torture devices and installations are presented, giving you a close look at the tools and methods that shaped medieval justice and control.
• Lifelike silicon figures and reconstructions place these torture devices in realistic scenes, so you can observe the posture, setting, and physical impact rather than just reading about them.
• An audio guide is included, allowing you to listen to context and explanations beside each device so you can understand the psychology and social thinking behind these punishments.
• A ghost hunting app is part of your visit, adding an interactive digital layer as you move through darker corners of the museum and test for virtual “activity” linked to specific rooms and exhibits.
Tiny Art Gallery
The Tiny Art Gallery forms the second part of your combo, shifting from dark historical themes to precise miniature craftsmanship. Here you focus on very small-scale artworks that reward slow looking and close attention.
Features
• Miniature artworks are displayed throughout, including pieces so small they can be viewed through the eye of a needle, inviting you to compare how detail and scale change your perception after the intensity of the museum.
• Exhibits highlight delicate artistic craftsmanship, with tiny compositions and figures arranged to contrast sharply with the large, heavy torture devices you saw earlier.
• Entry to the Tiny Art Gallery is included in your combo, so you can move straight from the Medieval Torture Museum into this second space without arranging a separate ticket.
• Your voucher will be emailed to you shortly.
• Display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at the starting point.
• Please check your final voucher for the starting point details & specific instructions.
