Getting started

What to expect
Historic Sicilian winery
This experience is centered in a traditional winery where Marsala is produced and aged. You move through working spaces and aging areas before sitting down for your reinforced tasting and light lunch.
Features
• The private tour of the winery introduces you to the production areas, so you can see where the wines are made and understand how the process unfolds from start to finish.
• During the tour of production areas, barrel room and tufa rock caves, you observe Marsala resting in very large casks and walk through the characteristic tufa rock caves used for aging.
• A 60-minute reinforced wine tasting session follows, giving you time to focus on each pour while remaining within the same historic setting.
• An explanation of about 10 different wines is provided at a buffet served in small Sicilian glasses, so you can compare styles and learn how each one is produced.
• Local Sicilian snacks, Arancine, fruit and coffee are served as a light lunch alongside the tasting, pairing regional flavors with the wines you are sampling.
