What to expect

Haunted streets, villas, and squares of Manchester

This experience turns Manchester into an outdoor escape game as you move through its most haunted streets, villas, and squares. The route is designed as a treasure hunt, guiding you between locations where local ghost stories and eerie legends are set.

Features

• Audio stories play on your phone at each haunted location, sharing secret stories and background tales that you unlock as you solve clues in the app.

• The format is a mix of a self-guided experience, outdoor escape game, and treasure hunt, so you follow a trail of clues instead of a physical tour guide.

• You enjoy an open-air tour that helps you avoid crowds, since you are out on the streets and not confined to busy indoor attractions.

• Flexibility to start, take a break, and continue at your own pace is built into the game, so you can pause between stops or spread the route over the day.

• The entire route works as an open-air tour that uses your smartphone instead of Wi-Fi, a physical tour guide, or entry tickets to attractions, which are not needed to complete the experience.
