Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu by Train (2 Days)

There we will take the train at around 12:36 The train goes through lush fields and colorful villages in the foothills of the Andes, and has great views of the mountains and of the beautiful Vilcanota river which runs through the Sacred Valley. When you arrive at Aguas Calientes, our staff will be waiting for you at the train station to take you to your selected hotel at 14:25 hrs. Our local guide will see you at your hotel around 19:30 hrs to brief you about the next day tour. You will have the afternoon free to explore by your own, visit the hot springs of Aguas Calientes or go to walk around the beautiful town. You can taste Peruvian food at the restaurant of your choice in the town of Aguas Calientes.

We will arrive at the checkpoint of Huayna Picchu at about 7 a.m and begin to hike up the awesome mountain. It will take about 45 minutes to reach the top, and once there you will be able to enjoy the impressive view of Machu Picchu and the nature that surrounds it. It will take about 40 minutes to go back down. At 10 a.m. You will begin a guided tour of Machu Picchu Citadel. Have in mind your MachuPicchu ticket valid from 6 am to 12:30 hrs. You will then be able to take the bus back to Aguas Calientes town, and have free time to get lunch. At about 18:20 hrs. Depart to return to Ollantaytambo and then take a bus to arrive in Cuzco at about 22:30 hrs. In case you want to come back with the earlier train at 14:30 hrs, just let us know once you book.
