Your experience

Boat excursion along the impressive Cliffs of Los Gigantes, enjoying a unique journey along the coast with a stop for swimming and tapas tasting on board!

Getting started

• Make your way to Puerto de Los Gigantes, where your crew will welcome you on board the sailboat. After a quick safety briefing and a simple explanation of the route, you can choose a comfortable spot on deck as the boat leaves the harbor and heads toward the Teno-Rasca marine reserve.

What to expect

• Once you're out on the open water, the cliffs of Los Gigantes rise dramatically along the coastline, one of Tenerife's most striking natural landmarks and the visual centerpiece of the entire cruise. The route follows the protected Teno-Rasca corridor, known for its calm waters, volcanic rock formations, and hidden coves.

• Because the sailboat relies mainly on wind power, there is less engine noise, so you can hear the sea and enjoy a quieter, more immersive approach to the coastline. The crew shares commentary on the cliffs, the marine reserve, and the area's ecology throughout the sail.

• At a suitable bay or cove, chosen according to the day's conditions, the skipper pauses the cruise for a short swim and snorkel stop. You can slide into the clear water, float near the boat, and look for fish and other small marine life, or simply stay on deck and take photos of the Los Gigantes cliffs.

Features

• Los Gigantes cliffs: Sail beneath these towering volcanic walls, one of Tenerife's most iconic natural landmarks, best seen from the water.

• Coastal sailing: Follow the protected Teno-Rasca strip through calm Atlantic waters past hidden coves and volcanic rock formations.

• Swim and snorkel stop: Pause at a calm bay or cove for a snorkel in clear water, with equipment available and the crew on hand for support.

• Tapas and drinks on deck: Light snacks and an included drink keep you comfortable while you take in the scenery between stops.

• Small-group eco sailing: A maximum of 11 guests and wind-powered sailing means a quieter, more personal experience from start to finish.

Set sail on an eco-friendly boat in a small-group of 11, tracing Tenerife's west coast with time to relax on deck and enjoy open Atlantic views.
Off this coast lies the protected Teno Rasca marine strip, where deep channels run beside the Los Gigantes cliffs and coves cut into the shoreline.
Watch whales and dolphins from the bow, then anchor in a quiet bay for a swim and snorkel stop, exploring clear coves and underwater rock formations.
An English, Spanish and French speaking guide is on board, with snorkeling equipment provided, plus a swim option, snacks and soft drinks.
Choose a shorter Shogun cruise with Blue Flag wildlife watching or longer eco sails that add snorkeling, refreshments, and varied departure harbors.
