Experience Lang Toi - My Village in Hanoi, a 60-minute Vietnamese bamboo circus that brings traditional village life to the stage through bamboo artistry, acrobatics, juggling, and live folk music.

Getting started

Make your way to the Hanoi Lune Center for the Bamboo Circus at 42 Trang Tien, Hoan Kiem Ward, Hanoi, the new Hanoi venue for Lang Toi - My Village from 3 November 2026. Present your ticket at the venue and take your seat before the performance begins. The show lasts approximately 60 minutes.

What to expect

• The performance draws inspiration from the everyday life of Northern Vietnamese villages, with farming, building activities, traditional games, and familiar village scenes recreated on stage.

• Traditional bamboo becomes the central performance material, creating an imaginative setting for physical theatre and circus sequences that blend Vietnamese heritage with contemporary stagecraft.

• Skilled performers take you through breathtaking acrobatics, impressive contortions, and precise juggling sequences, with bamboo props adding movement and visual drama to the performance.

• More than 20 traditional musical instruments are played live on stage, filling the performance with folk melodies that complement the movement and storytelling.

• Select from AAH!, OOH!, or WOW! seating categories when booking your Lang Toi - My Village ticket. Your seating category will be based on the option you choose.

First performed in 2009, Lang Toi has gained international recognition through more than 1,000 performances in Vietnam and overseas, showcasing Vietnamese culture to audiences around the world.
