Icy air streams across your face, snow crunches under your feet, and the view nearly takes your breath away: on one side the view of the Mittelland up to the Vosges, on the other the Aletsch glacier, bordered by four thousand metre peaks. Standing on the Jungfraujoch 3,454 metres above sea level, you can feel it with your first step: this is a different world. It's one you have to experience.
Interlaken, Switzerland
Despite the name, Höheweg, literally "high path" in Swiss German, is quite level. It's also ideal for an ambitious shopping trip. Along the lengthy promenade between the Interlaken Ost and West stations, tourists can find classic Swiss souvenirs: watches from Tissot and other brands, Swiss army knives, and the finest Swiss chocolate, such as Lindt. You can also find typical regional goods at Höheweg. Natural cosmetics and local delicacies or arts and crafts from the Bernese Oberland. There are always markets in Interlaken and on the picturesque market square in Unterseen – likewise a good opportunity to purchase a small souvenir.
We will pick you up from the small car parking, at the exit of the metro's stop "Vennes", next Aquatis. The bus will say Swisstours and will come between 8:00 AM and 8:15 AM because it actually comes from Geneva
