This excursion allows the traveler to discover the flora and fauna of Cape Verde with a hike in the surroundings areas of the Malagueta mountain range natural park, a green area throughout the year and with stunning and breathtaking mountain views. In addition, you will be able to learn about the way of life of the valley's residents in the village of Principal and understand their lifestyle.
d together with your guide you will head to the bus station and head towards the Serra Malagueta natural park, this journey by car can take about half an hour. Upon arriving at the park you will explore the most beautiful landscapes and mountains of this island. This trail is about 4 km distance 700 m downhill with panoramic views of the valley and distant villages down, your destination is the village of Principal where a big water dam is located. At the end you will enjoy a delicious lunch chez mama Tereza at the bottom of the valley.
