What to expect

Traditional Vietnamese coffee class in an Indochina-style villa

This experience takes place inside a hidden Indochina-style villa where you explore Vietnam’s coffee history and culture. Across the session, you move from storytelling to hands-on brewing, with time to taste different drinks and ask questions.

Features

• Begin with a welcome drink of ancestral herbal tea and access to water, provided as mineral water in a 20L bottle available hot and cold, so you stay refreshed throughout the Vietnamese coffee brewing workshop.

• Settle in with snacks and biscuits that complement the brews, creating a simple pairing while you listen to cultural stories about Vietnam’s coffee traditions.

• Learn how Vietnam’s coffee history connects to sustainable traditions rooted in the hosts’ Da Lat coffee farm, and hear how this farm helps fund children’s education.

• Use all provided equipment and devices for the class, so you can focus on technique rather than bringing your own tools.

• Taste a range of iconic Vietnamese brews during the coffee tastings, experiencing how different methods and recipes change flavor.

• Sample all traditional homemade liquor tastings as part of the cultural experience, with context on how these drinks fit into local customs.

• Stay connected with Wi-Fi and internet access throughout the session, useful if you want to share moments or take notes digitally.

• Work in a comfortable environment with air conditioning or a fan available, so the focus stays on brewing rather than the weather.

• At the end of the class, receive digital recipes that summarize what you learned, making it easy to recreate Vietnamese coffee drinks at home.

Wrapping up

After the workshop, you can take a final look around the intimate villa setting on your own before departing, with all digital recipes saved for later and no hotel pickup and drop-off, digital certificate, or personal expenses included in this experience.
