Half Day Trip to Countryside of Banat with Lunch

As you walk around, we will learn about the slower pace of life and the authenticity of the area. We will stop by a local museum to learn about the local community’s history.

We will visit the local wooden church of Margina, learning about the local customs.

We will learn about farming practices, the production of local goods (like cheese, honey, and seasonal fresh produce), beekeeping and the role of animals in rural Romanian life.

The cuisine of Banat is rich and flavourful with a background from various ethnic groups. We will learn about locally sourced, slow-cooked food while enjoying an authentic meal.
