Half day to visit cultural sites in Bagan

The name of temple means small ruby which tied up a King’s story. Sulamani Temple has two storey with the similar design of Htilominlo temple. From the distance, you will see temple like a crown with upper storey is smaller than the ground storey. Inside the temple, you can see Buddha statue and Buddha paintings on the walls.

From the distance, it looks like a pyramid covering by bricks. Because of the King's strictness and controlling construction work carefully and strictly, the temple was done with great precision. Four entrances of temple will have a seated Buddha image on a pedestal like Buddha always exist in the normal life of each person.

It was built on 13th century by King Kyaswa. Pyathetgyi Pagoda was built of wooden and brick. It also owns a symmetrical structure with delicate details.

The bright and airy temple was built in the early 13th century by a minister at the court of King Htilominlo in the style of Bagan's later temples. Unfortunately the original wall paintings have been white washed and modern murals painted over the top. This temple is still in regular use by local villagers.
