The tour lasts approximately 8 - 9 hours from departure to return. After picking up you and the other participants, we will go by transport for about 2 hours until the first attraction, from there you can feel the fresh air, visit a historic cemetery and observe beautiful landscapes until before arriving at Charquini base camp which is located at 4800 meters above sea level, where we will start the trek of about 1 hour until we reach the Emerald Lagoon with altitude of 5024 meters above sea level, in this place we will stay about an hour enjoying the landscape while we eat the snacks, after that we will start the return of the hike and for the return to La Paz.
It is a hike of not much demand where you can see some mountains of the Andes Mountains and reach one of the best known Lagoons of La Paz. The altitude of the attraction must be taken into account is why it is also perfect for those who wish to acclimate prior to their ascent to Huayna Potosi.
From this point it is possible to see the Nevado Charquini, to which we are heading, the Chacaltaya mountain and the Huayna Potosì.

Our Tour ends here, we will return to the meeting point with an approximate trip of 2 hours
They are collected from hotels, hostels or guesthouses in the central area, Miraflores and Sopocachi. The pick-up time must be coordinated in advance at the time of booking. Pickups are NOT made from hotels in the south, nor from the city of El Alto
