Drive across the rugged north coast to the old copper mine of Parys Mountain. Short 10 minute walk to overlook the lunar landscape of multicolured rocks left behind by the mine and learn about the impotance of the industry to the island.

You have time to wander around the craft shops, walk to the pier overlooking Snowdonia and the coast or to go around the castle built in 1295 (Optional extra; entrance fee not included).

Return home across the Menai Suspension bridge and along the North Wales coast.
