Your Experience

Explore Santa Rita, a National Historic Monument, with guided history, vineyard cycling, tastings, and an outdoor gourmet picnic.

Getting started

Begin your Santa Rita Vineyard Tour at your chosen meeting point option: Plaza de Armas, Ricardo Lyon Av 32, Hotel Sheraton, Vitacura Av 2653, or Parque Arauco. After check-in, join your group and meet your bilingual English and Spanish-speaking guide. You then board your vehicle for the round-trip transfers to the Santa Rita area, where the guided visit and outdoor activities begin.

What to expect

Santa Rita vineyard and cellar

Santa Rita is recognized as a National Historic Monument and is the core setting for your visit. Your guide leads you through the working vineyard and into the cellar, where production and aging spaces set the scene for the tasting.

Features

• The Santa Rita vineyard and cellar tour is guided by experts who explain the winemaking process on site, from grapes in the fields to bottles stored in the cellar.

• During the tasting session, adults sample three tastings in total: two Reserva selections and one Gran Reserva, and receive a complimentary glass to remember the visit.

• A bilingual English and Spanish-speaking guide remains with your group throughout this part of the experience, helping you follow the explanations and ask questions in your preferred language.

Centenary Park

Next, you explore the historic surroundings of Centenary Park that frame the Santa Rita property. This landscaped park is part of the National Historic Monument designation and provides a change of pace from the production areas.

Features

• Walking through Centenary Park, you see historic surroundings that connect the vineyard to its broader cultural setting, with your guide highlighting key points along the way.

• Time in the park is also when the group transitions between the cellar visit and the outdoor portions of the tour, keeping the route relaxed and easy to follow.

Bicycle tour through scenic vineyards

A bicycle tour through the vineyards lets you experience the landscape more actively. This ride is through scenic vineyard paths that bring you closer to the vines themselves.

Features

• The bicycle tour through scenic vineyards is available as an optional ride, giving you a chance to move between rows of vines and appreciate the terrain from a different perspective.

• Bikes are used to cover more ground in the vineyard area than on foot, and your guide coordinates the route so the group can ride safely together.

Gourmet picnic among the vineyards

Your visit continues with a gourmet picnic set among the vineyards. This outdoor break is designed around a prepared menu rather than a quick snack.

Features

• The gourmet picnic includes a cheese and charcuterie board and a gourmet ciabatta sandwich, providing a complete outdoor meal in the vineyard setting.

• This picnic is described as a delicious gourmet outdoor picnic, giving you time to sit, eat, and take in the vineyard surroundings before you move on.

Andean Museum

To round out the day, you visit the Andean Museum located on the Santa Rita property. This museum focuses on pre-Columbian heritage and adds a cultural dimension to the tasting-focused visit.

Features

• Inside the Andean Museum, you encounter a collection of more than 3,000 pre-Columbian artifacts, which show the depth of regional history beyond the vineyard.

• The museum visit is included as part of your overall route that also covers the Santa Rita vineyard and cellar and Centenary Park, creating a combined experience of history, culture, and tastings.

Wrapping up

After your time at the Andean Museum, you regroup with your guide and return by round-trip transfers to your original departure point, where the Santa Rita Vineyard Tour concludes and you are free to continue your day independently.
