Board the shared transportation with your bilingual English and Spanish-speaking guide and leave the city behind for Valle de la Luna. The entry ticket to Valle de la Luna is not included, so make sure you have purchased it in advance.

This guided tour focuses on key viewpoints and formations inside Valle de la Luna, combining several stops by vehicle and short walks.

Features

• At the Amphitheater, you see one of the park's best-known rock formations, shaped into a large natural bowl that gives this sector its name. Your guide uses this stop to introduce Valle de la Luna and explain how these layered rocks took their current form.

• Duna Mayor offers a high sand ridge where the landscape opens up into wide desert views. From this area, you can observe the contrast between the dune and surrounding rock formations that define the park.

• At 3 Marías, you observe three slender rock pillars that have become one of Valle de la Luna's most recognizable silhouettes. Your guide points out how erosion has sculpted these figures and what makes them a reference point inside the valley.

• Mirador de Ckari, also known as Piedra del Coyote, serves as a panoramic balcony over the surrounding desert. From this viewpoint, you can look out across the valley and see how the different sectors you visited fit together in the larger Atacama landscape.

• A guided tour of Valle de la Luna is included, led by an expert English and Spanish-speaking guide who stays with the shared group throughout. Shared transportation between Amphitheater, Duna Mayor, 3 Marías and Mirador de Ckari is provided, and at the end of the visit you are dropped off in the city center.
