Fes to Marrakech: Merzouga & Ait Ben Haddou, 3 Days 2 Nights

Start Time: 7:30 AM (pick-up from your hotel or nearest meeting point in Fes if your riad/hotel is not accessible by vehicle)

Known as the "Switzerland of Morocco" for its alpine architecture and clean streets. Free time to stroll and take photos, including the famous stone lion statue.

Home to Barbary macaque monkeys. Enjoy the crisp mountain air and interact with the monkeys (please be careful).

A relaxing lunch stop between the Middle and High Atlas ranges. (lunch is optional)

Drive through the Ziz River canyon, dotted with date palm groves and fortified villages.

Arrive to Merzouga

Approx. 40mins camel ride Arrive at the edge of Erg Chebbi dunes. Begin your camel trek across golden sands as the sun sets. At the camp, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, followed by Saharian music around the campfire under the stars.

Early morning Wake up to watch the sunrise over the dunes. Free time for photos, then return to camp to freshen up and have breakfast.

Historical capital of the Alaouite dynasty and home to the ancient trading hub of Sijilmassa. Explore local Kasbahs, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif (time permitting), and the vibrant local market.

Walk through spectacular limestone cliffs rising dramatically on either side of the Todra River.

Travel through rugged landscapes, Berber villages, and winding roads carved through red cliffs.

Evening arrival Reach the cinematic capital of Morocco. Enjoy dinner and overnight at a local hotel.

Wake up early and have your breakfast at your hotel

UNESCO-listed fortified ksar made of clay and stone. Explore winding alleyways and climb to the top for panoramic views. Lunch break at a local restaurant (not included).

Drive through the high Atlas Mountains

Scenic drive with multiple photo stops Cross the impressive Tizi n’Tichka Pass at 2,260 meters altitude. Stop for photos of snow-capped peaks, terraced fields, Berber villages, and small waterfalls.

Arrival at Approx. 6:00 PM (more or less) Drop-off at Jemaa el-Fna Square (if your riad is in the Medina) or at your hotel if accessible from main roads.
