This 4hr experience introduces you to two of the country's most iconic traditions. Ethiopian coffee and enjera, the national flatbread. Start with a guided coffee cupping session led by a local expert, where you’ll explore the aromas, flavors, and brewing methods that make Ethiopian coffee world renowned. You’ll learn about the different coffee growing regions, roast levels, and how to identify tasting notes like a professional. Next, roll up your sleeves for an interactive enjera-making class. You’ll be welcomed into a cozy kitchen setting, where you’ll mix, ferment, and bake this unique sourdough-risen bread on a traditional mitad. Learn the art of flipping it perfectly and then enjoy your enjera with a variety of authentic Ethiopian dishes like shiro, misir wot, and more. Finish the session with a relaxed communal meal and Ethiopian coffee ceremony a moment to savor your creations and engage with locals in true Ethiopian style.
Your guide will contact you a day prior your trip and will be waiting for you in the airport parking lot at zone A5 which is right next to the terminal and if your pickup is at the hotel your guide will be waiting for you at the lobby waiting area to great you.
