Built to commemorate a white horse that carried Buddhist scriptures along the Silk Road, the pagoda reflects Dunhuang’s early Buddhist history. Guests can walk around the site, view the nine-level structure, and learn about its cultural and religious significance in a quiet, scenic setting.

Guests can walk on the dunes, enjoy views of the crescent-shaped lake, and take their time exploring the desert landscape. Optional activities such as camel riding or ATV experiences may be available at the scenic area for travelers who wish to participate.
