Upon arriving in Meknes, you’ll be welcomed by the stunning views of the Medina. Your tour begins with a stroll along the historic city walls, passing iconic 17th-century gates such as Bab Berdaïne and Bab Khemis. Continue exploring the city’s rich heritage, including the stables (Rua), attics (Heri), and royal stud farms. A highlight of the visit is the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, which for a long time was the only mosque in Morocco open to non-Muslims. You can also enjoy a delicious 1-hour lunch break in Meknes. The tour concludes as you exit through the magnificent Bab Mansour into the expansive Hedim Square, where you can explore the Dar Jamai Museum of Moroccan Art, showcasing an impressive collection of traditional Moroccan handicrafts.
