According to the belief of the indigenous people of the El Romerillo community, the souls of the deceased arrive on foot to visit their relatives every November 1st. A visit to the Romerillo cemetery, located on a mountain crowned with 22 enormous Tzotzil crosses, is a very genuine, and in some ways, a rude experience.
