Cruise & Rainforest Walk - Franz Josef Glacier

Step off the boat and into a journey through another world! Experience Westland’s oldest Jurassic-like rainforest and meet curious native birdlife. This trip our premium cruise, suitable for all ages. Difficulty of the walk: Please note the guided walk is designed to keep the rainforest in it’s pristine state, as the region is part of the Westland National Park. This means there’s some roots throughout the track, and a couple of big steps early on. Your skipper & tour guides walk the track with the group, and can lend a hand to assist during the walk. There’s many stops throughout to discuss the rainforest and the conservation. There’s a couple of set handlines and walking poles available if you require them.
