Getting started

On the day of your cruise, your experience begins with a convenient hotel pick-up within a 5 km radius of Puerto Colón, if you have chosen an option with transfers. You are driven to the marina, where your captain and crew greet you at the yacht. After a short check-in and safety briefing, you step on board, choose a comfortable spot on deck, and get an outline of the planned route along Tenerife’s south coast and through the Teno-Rasca marine strip.

What to expect

As you sail away from Puerto Colón, the yacht follows a route along the protected Teno-Rasca area, a marine strip known for its frequent sightings of resident dolphins and passing whales. The captain and crew keep an eye on the water and sky, looking for telltale splashes, blows, or fins. When animals are spotted, the yacht slows down and approaches carefully, keeping a respectful distance and following local regulations so that encounters stay safe for both wildlife and guests.
