Clarkson's Farm Filming Locations: Diddly Squat Farm Shop & More

Meet Simon outside the ticket office at Moreton-in-Marsh Railway Station at 10:20, ready for departure at 10:30. Local pickups may be available by prior arrangement. This is a relaxed, small-group day with a maximum of seven guests, hosted by a local Chipping Norton guide with a farming background. We start at Moreton-in-Marsh Railway Station before heading through Chipping Norton and into the countryside around Clarkson’s Farm.

You’ll have time to take photos and buy something to eat or drink. You can look in the shop, but I often recommend avoiding the queue because there are better options for buying Diddly Squat Farm Shop products without queuing that most people don’t know about. We don’t offer queue-jumping or guarantee time to enter when it’s busy.

From there, we explore the local village and filming locations connected with Clarkson’s Farm, including a countryside walk and some stops that I deliberately don’t advertise.

We also call at a traditional village pub used by Jeremy and Gerald, with time for a drink before driving to The Farmer’s Dog through some beautiful Cotswold countryside that most visitors and locals miss.

The afternoon continues through the Cotswolds, usually via Burford and Bourton-on-the-Water, depending on traffic.

We then visit Hawkstone Brewery’s Tap Yard, The Hawkstone Arms, where you can enjoy a drink before we return to Moreton-in-Marsh. There may be time for an extra country pub stop along the way, depending on timings, how the day is going and what the group enjoys. I don’t publish every location we visit. This helps protect the area for locals and future guests, and part of the fun is discovering these places on the day.

After the final pub stop, we return through the Cotswold countryside to Moreton-in-Marsh railway station. Along the way we pass the well-known Daylesford Organic Farm Shop before arriving back at the station for the end of the tour.
