Spend a full day exploring Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, a large-scale marine theme park in Zhuhai that combines aquariums, marine animal exhibits, themed rides, live performances and evening entertainment.

Getting started

Present your ticket at the Chimelong Ocean Kingdom entrance on your selected visit date. Once inside, pick up or refer to the park map and plan your route across the eight themed zones. Keep in mind that re-entry is not permitted once you leave the venue, so plan your visit accordingly.

What to expect

• Explore eight themed zones: Discover Ocean Avenue, Dolphin Bay, Rainforest Flying, Ocean Wonders, Polar Exploration, Colorful World, Walrus Mountain and Hengqin Sea, each combining marine exhibits, attractions or themed experiences.

• Meet whale sharks up close: Visit the Whale Shark Aquarium and see these enormous marine animals through a curved underwater tunnel and circular dome-style viewing areas.

• Discover the marine world: See belugas, penguins, polar bears, dolphins, sea lions, walruses, rays and other marine animals across dedicated pavilions and exhibits.

• Walk through a jellyfish world: Visit the Jellyfish Pavilion and see thousands of jellyfish in illuminated aquatic displays.

• See manta rays: Discover the ray exhibits and observe manta rays that can reach impressive sizes.

• Take on the Parrot Coaster: Ride one of the park's signature thrill attractions, with steep climbs, drops and high-speed sections designed for adrenaline seekers.

• Try family-friendly rides: Choose from interactive boat rides, spinning water attractions, children's rides and indoor play areas for younger visitors.

• Catch marine animal shows: Watch scheduled performances at the Dolphin Theater and Beluga Theater, featuring trained marine animals and live presentations.

• Watch the park come alive: Depending on the day's schedule, catch ocean-themed parades, musical fountains, light displays, fireworks and drone shows.

• Stay for the evening: Plan your day around the park's nighttime entertainment, including the Ocean Defense Battle fireworks and light and drone show when scheduled.
