Getting started

Begin your morning with round-trip hotel transfers from your accommodation to the balloon launch area near Ihlara Valley. Once the pilot confirms conditions are suitable, you board and get ready for takeoff as sunrise approaches.

What to expect

Ihlara Valley sunrise hot air balloon flight

This experience focuses on Ihlara Valley, known for its deep canyons, lush greenery, and geological formations. You lift off around sunrise to view this part of Cappadocia from above as the landscape gradually lights up.

Features

• Approx. 45-minute hot air balloon flight over Ihlara Valley lets you observe the deep canyons, dense vegetation, and varied rock formations from an aerial perspective during sunrise.

• The flight is described as the Green Tour’s finest highlight, giving you a view of the most prominent attraction on that regional route from the sky instead of from ground level.

• A peaceful alternative to Göreme, this route focuses on a quieter, more nature-focused area so you can look out over valleys and cliffs with fewer balloons and crowds in view.

• Expert pilots and top-tier equipment are provided, and you are covered by full passenger insurance during the flight for added peace of mind while you are in the air.

• Basket capacity is up to 28 passengers, so you share the experience with a group while still having space to move and look out over different sides of the valley.

• Round-trip hotel transfers, with an approximate 2-hour pre-flight transfer duration, are included so you do not need to arrange separate transport to or from Ihlara Valley.

• After landing, the morning concludes with a post-flight celebration, including non-alcoholic champagne and a flight certificate to mark your Ihlara Valley sunrise balloon experience.

Wrapping up

Once the celebration and certificate presentation are complete, you return to your accommodation with the included round-trip hotel transfers, carrying your flight certificate and any optional professional photo or video packages you may have chosen to purchase separately.
