Start the day with breakfast at the Ban Gioc homestay. Pack your belongings, check out, and prepare for a longer ride through remote valleys and mountain countryside toward Ngoc Con and Pac Bo.

The trail leads through peaceful countryside and gradually climbs toward a panoramic mountain viewpoint. From the top, admire winding waterways, rice fields, limestone peaks, and remote villages rarely visited by large tour groups. The route has a moderate elevation gain and is best suited to travelers with a reasonable level of fitness.

Travel into the open valley beneath the mountain’s enormous natural rock opening and enjoy views of grasslands, surrounding peaks, and rural countryside. Depending on the season, weather, and water level, explore the area on an easy walk, by kayak, or by a small local boat. Arrive in Pac Bo and check in at a cozy, locally run homestay. Take time to rest or join your guide for a gentle walk around the village, meeting local residents and observing everyday rural life. Gather for a home-cooked dinner with your hosts and group. Share stories with your English-speaking local guide, learn about local customs and family life, and enjoy a relaxed cultural exchange in the village. Adult guests may also be offered a small optional taste of locally made rice wine.

Begin the final day with breakfast at the Pac Bo homestay before checking out and traveling to the nearby historical complex.

On the way back from Pac Bo to Cao Bang City, stop at Truong Ha Stream, a peaceful local swimming spot surrounded by green mountains and rural scenery. When the weather, water level, and local safety conditions are suitable, enjoy a refreshing swim in the clear stream or simply relax by the water before continuing to the Cao Bang Travel office. Your local guide will check the conditions on the day and confirm whether swimming is possible. Time will be provided for guests to change before departure.

The tour finishes at the Cao Bang Travel office in Cao Bang City between approximately 4:20 PM and 5:00 PM on Day 3. Transportation from Cao Bang to Hanoi or other destinations is not included in the tour price. Guests should arrange their onward travel separately.
