Your Experience

Follow Maria, a doctor, and Anton, a poor army private, as they run away together through Bucharest's Cotroceni neighbourhood to protect a love that society forbids, in this self-guided exploration game. Find out where they hid and what became of them among the area's architectural masterpieces. Maria is inspired by Maria Cuțarida-Crătunescu, the first female doctor in Romania.

Along the way you solve challenges in the Questo app, learn historical facts and local myths, and discover hidden spots that only locals know and most tourists pass by. The walk covers about 2 km and takes around 1 hour, with no time limit.

Will you find out what became of Maria and Anton's love?
