Tourists and locals alike dive into the shaded cave section or float in the sunlit open area, where you can see every stone on the pool floor.
Samoa
Hidden in the lush rainforest above Lotofaga village, Sopoaga Waterfall is one of Upolu’s most scenic spots. The waterfall drops over 30 meters into a deep, cool pool surrounded by tropical ferns and towering trees. A short jungles walk takes you to the viewing deck, where the sound of falling water and fresh mountain air make it feel like another world. It’s a peaceful stop that’s loved by both tourists and locals looking to cool off and take photo.
This 30 metre deep volcanic crater is filled with clear blue seawater and accessed by a steep ladder down to a wooden platform for easy entry. At the bottom, you’re swimming in a natural ocean pool that connects to the open sea through an underwater cave. It’s recommended for confident swimmers and skill divers. The trench is set inside lust tropical gardens with cliff-top views over the ocean. A spectacular spot for photos and quite moments away from the crowds.
