Your Experience
Kayak across Lake Powell into Antelope Canyon with an expert English-speaking guide, combining paddling, hiking, and optional swimming in one tour.
Getting started
Meet your English-speaking guide at the designated starting point and get set up with your kayak and paddle. After a safety briefing and basic kayaking instruction, your guide issues your U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket and dry bag for personal essentials. Once everyone is ready, the group moves down to the water, where guides handle the kayak transport and carrying.
What to expect
Lake Powell
Lake Powell is your launch point, where calm water and wide views lead you toward the sandstone entrance of Antelope Canyon.
Features
• Guided kayaking on Lake Powell forms the first part of the experience, as you paddle across open water toward the canyon with your guide setting the pace and route.
• An expert English-speaking guide explains the geology and natural features that define Lake Powell and its connection to Antelope Canyon while you travel by water.
• The safety briefing and basic kayaking instruction start the session so even first-time paddlers know how to steer, stop, and maneuver their kayaks confidently.
• A kayak and paddle, U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket, and a dry bag for personal essentials are provided so you can focus on the scenery rather than the gear.
Antelope Canyon (lower section)
The lower section of Antelope Canyon becomes accessible once you leave the kayaks and step into the narrowing sandstone corridor.
Features
• A guided hike through the lower section of Antelope Canyon lets you walk between winding sandstone walls, observing layered rock textures and changing colors along the route.
• Experiencing Antelope Canyon and Lake Powell from the water and then on foot gives you two distinct perspectives that you cannot get from roadside viewpoints.
• Optional swimming in Lake Powell may be available during the tour, offering a cooling break in clear water when conditions permit.
• Kayak transport and carrying by guides, along with their handling of the heavy lifting on the steep sandy beach, reduce physical strain so you can conserve energy for hiking inside the canyon.
• Your voucher will be emailed to you shortly.
• Display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at the starting point.
• Please check your final voucher for the starting point details and specific instructions.
