Please bring your camera and remember to have some extra money for souvenirs, the yacht trip and drinks. It’s a good idea to bring extra sun cream as we’ll be outside a lot of the time.

Antalya was first a Roman town, then Byzantine and this was followed by the Ottomans. The walls and buildings literally breathe history. Explore the beautiful streets and admire the Tekeli Mehmet Pasa Cami mosque which was built in the 18th century and is one of the most important Ottoman buildings in the city.

This was built to commemorate the visit of Roman emperor Hadrian and even today is well preserved so you can admire the architecture and the colorful, floral pieces of art along the walls. We’ll also visit the city square which is famous for its clock tower which was built during the reign of Ottoman Sultan Abdul Hamid the second. There are also some ancient statues around the square. Your guide will be on hand to talk you through each monument and the stories and legends that come with them.

Some fantastic photo opportunities present themselves during the journey and it’s a wonderfully serene way to enjoy sightseeing.

This sight of natural beauty is the highest waterfall in the Turkish Mediterranean. 42 meters high the waterfall is a fantastic sight and it makes for a very refreshing stop on our way back home.
