The Amsterdam Light Festival is among the must-see spectacles of Amsterdam during the cold winter months. Dutch and international artists transform the city every year into a light spectacle.
Skip the ticket office and go directly to Damrak Pier 4, a 3-minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station. Or to Stromma Central station right next to the bridge.
While you sit back and relax, marvel at more than 25 light sculptures and projections during the Amsterdam Light Festival. Enjoy panoramic views from the glass-roof barge, passing by illuminated merchant houses, and under the romantic bridges of the Amstel River. See some of the city’s cultural institutions glittering against the night sky. Hear interesting facts about the innovative light sculptures you pass with the help of an audio guide.
End your adventure back at the starting point.
