What to expect

Hungerburg Funicular

This combo begins with the Hungerburg Funicular, which connects Innsbruck with the hillside area above the city. Your ride sets the scene as you leave the urban center and move toward the Alpine Zoo.

Features

• Your round-trip Hungerburg Funicular ticket is included, so you travel up and back on the same day without buying separate transport tickets. The ticket is valid for 1 day, giving you flexibility on timing.

• During the funicular ride you transition from the city area toward the zoo’s elevated location, which creates a clear shift from city streets to a more natural setting around the Alpine Zoo.

• Pets are not allowed on this experience, so you can plan your visit and transport without needing to arrange for animals on board.

Alpine Zoo Innsbruck

Alpine Zoo Innsbruck is the core destination of this combo, focused on alpine wildlife in a dedicated zoo setting. Once you arrive, you can explore the zoo at your own pace within the validity of your day ticket.

Features

• Entry to Alpine Zoo is included, so you go straight into the zoo area using the same ticket that covered your funicular journey. The lack of a guide means you are free to follow your own route and spend more or less time in the sections that interest you.

• With the ticket valid for 1 day, you can adjust your schedule inside the Alpine Zoo Innsbruck without rushing, allowing for breaks, photo stops, or revisiting areas as you wish.

• Food and drinks are not included, and pets are not allowed, so you can plan any meals and arrangements before or after your time inside the zoo.
