A day trip to the forgotten Mariovo region from Ohrid

After the pick-up from Ohrid we will be driving through Bitola, to make some shopping supplies for food and drinks, because we are continuing to the abandoned region of Mariovo.

We will be passing through the Pelagonia valley, one of the most fruitful lands in the country.

There are three necropolises in Rapesh from the Iron Age. The village of Rapesh is one of the handful of villages in the Mariovo region that features remarkable stone architecture.

The old movie bridge is so picturesque, it is the perfect place to make beautiful photos. The village of Zovich is unique and almost abandoned, so it is mere luck if we manage to see some of the locals who are still living here and hear some of there stories.
