Today, we will do 3hrs drive on RN7 to reach Ambatolampy. En route, you will admire the green landscapes of the highland including visiting the farmer's village. Upon arrival, explore an aluminum factory where you can get some fancy home decoration or kitchen materiels. We will head out to Antsirabe after the visit.
Antsirabe, Madagascar
Upon arrival in Antsirabe, located about 90 km from Ambatolampy, enjoy a guided exploration of this charming highland city, known for its thermal springs and traditional craftsmanship. Discover Antsirabe by pousse-pousse, the city’s iconic rickshaw, and visit a precious stone showroom to admire Madagascar’s colorful gemstones. Continue to a zebu horn workshop and a local miniature craft workshop, where traditional skills are transformed into unique handmade creations. Complete the visit with a stop at the city’s thermal warm water springs, an important part of Antsirabe’s heritage. The rest of the day at your leisure.

After your breakfast, head out by car to Ambositra village for three hours drive along the road N°7. Upon arrival, explore the lively local handicraft market, where traditional Malagasy artisans showcase handmade wood carvings, woven products, baskets, and other unique crafts. Take time to discover authentic souvenirs and experience the town’s rich craftsmanship.
Haute Matsiatra, Fianarantsoa, Madagascar
After lunch, depart from Ambositra and enjoy a scenic 4-hour drive to reach Ranomafana village. We will spend time to have nice photographs of the landscape along the way. At 5: 00 PM, enjoy a night walk with a local guide on the national park to spot all nocturnal reptiles, birds, and others. Your local guide has enough knowledge to provide you insight of each wildlife in this park.
Haute Matsiatra, Fianarantsoa, Madagascar
Today, after your breakfast, we will take you to visit the national rainforest of Ranomafana for a few hour's hike. This park is home to endemic wildlife including birds, lemurs, plants, and reptiles. Be ready with your walking boots, raincoat, Mosquito protection, and a full battery of camera. Back to the restaurant after the visit for lunch before back on the road again.
Upon arrive, reach the view point of the city and explore the Royal Museum. Taste the local win that is made in place (local win factory). Drive back to your Hotel after the whole visit, and the rest of the day at your leisure.

8:00 Am - Leave Fianarantsoa Hotel after breakfast. Visit the Antemoro Paper factory (handmade) which is a local paper made by the tree bark named "Havoa", and you can get the finished product in place. The visit will include exploring the biggest Zebu market and the village of Ambalavao.

Continue our journey south with a one-hour drive to reach Anja Community Reserve. Visit this beautiful reserve, which is managed by the local community, and discover the famous ring-tailed lemurs living freely in their natural habitat. The lemurs are usually easy to spot, making it a great opportunity for wildlife observation and photography. After the visit, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing our journey south.
Ranohira, Madagascar
After your visit to Anja Community Reserve with a local guide, continue the journey south along National Road N°7 for approximately four hours to reach Ranohira. Along the way, cross the vast Horombe Plateau, a beautiful savanna landscape covered with dry grass that creates striking shades of red and yellow, offering excellent opportunities for panoramic photography. Upon arrival in the Ranohira area, head to the famous Isalo Window to admire the spectacular colors of the sunset and capture unforgettable photographs of this iconic natural viewpoint, often referred to as the “Heaven’s Gate of Isalo.” After sunset, return to the hotel, passing by the Queen’s Statue along the way.

After a good breakfast at the hotel, drive to the entrance of Isalo National Park to meet your local guide and begin a half-day hiking adventure through one of Madagascar’s most visited national parks. Be prepared with sun cream, mosquito repellent, comfortable walking shoes, and plenty of water. A good level of fitness is recommended, as the hike involves uneven and sometimes rocky terrain. The Isalo Massif is a spectacular sandstone plateau dating back to the Jurassic period. The park is renowned for its dramatic landscapes, featuring deep canyons, sandy valleys, natural rock formations, and rugged cliffs shaped by millions of years of erosion. The reddish tones of the rocks and the iron- and aluminum-rich soil create a unique and photogenic environment. After approximately four hours of hiking with your local guide, take a well-deserved break in the shade and enjoy a picnic lunch with fresh drinks, allowing you to relax and recover before returning to the hotel.

After a quick fresh-up at the hotel, continue your journey south with a four-hour drive along National Road N°7 to reach Toliara. Along the way, enjoy the changing scenery, from dry landscapes and baobab forests to traditional villages and impressive local tombs. You will also have the opportunity to observe the fascinating tombs of southern Madagascar, which are often much more elaborate and imposing than the houses where people live. Why is that? Your local guide will explain the cultural beliefs and traditions behind these remarkable burial monuments, giving you a deeper insight into the local way of life.

Today, we will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the seaport, where you will board a speedboat for approximately 45 minutes to reach the beautiful coastal village of Anakao. Upon arrival in Anakao, transfer to your hotel and settle in. From this point onward, the rest of the day is free for you to enjoy at your own pace. You can simply relax on the stunning beach, enjoy the peaceful surroundings, or take part in optional activities and excursions offered by your hotel.

We will drive back to Toliara after good breakfast to get your flight checking to Antananarivo. Take a look of the city local daily life and market for souvenirs.
