4 Days in Chiapas Explore Canyons, Waterfalls and Mayas Villages

The Sinkhole Canyon is a natural wonder that you cannot miss. On this boat tour, you will sail along the Grijalva River for two hours, surrounded by impressive rock formations and rich biodiversity, where you can observe from the majestic Christmas Eve Flower to animals such as the Spider Monkey, Crocodile and Pelicans. The Archaeological Zone of Palenque will be the next stop, a Mayan site of great importance that shelters enigmas such as the Tomb of King Pakal and the Temple of the Inscriptions. Here you can walk among ancient ruins and marvel at the stories that tell their stones. We will return to San Cristobal de las Casas, the transfer is approximately 5 hours. Visit the El Chiflón Waterfalls, where beautiful landscapes await you surrounded by rainforest. Explore various waterfalls, such as the Wedding Veil and the Angel Wing, and enjoy a unique and refreshing landscape.

Then, you will get to know the Lakes of Montebello, a set of more than 50 lakes and lagoons where you can enjoy raft or kayak rides, surrounded by the most lush nature. Return to San Cristobal. Accommodation in San Cristobal.

It will be to know the indigenous communities San Juan Chamula and San Lorenzo Zinacantan. In Chamula, you will witness the mixture of Mayan and Catholic religion in his church, where ancient rituals are held.
