4-Days Amazing Short Trekking of Pokhara Valley

Drive with a private vehicle to Nayapul, following the scenic winding highway the offers views of Pokhara valley and the Himalayan ranges to Nayapul. (Drive in total will take about 1.5 hours). Start the trek towards Trikhedhunga. Following Modi River, walk past the forest of blooming rhododendron and cross a small stream. Cross Birethanti after about hour and half of a trek and arrive at Tirkhedhunga.

Cross the Magar village of Banthanti from where it is possible to get spectacular views of Machhapuchhre Mountain (6997m), Hiunchuli Mountain (6441m) and Annapurna South Mountain (7219m). Cross the small river and climb to Nangethanti. Arrive at Ghorepani and get soaring views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Annapurna I and other mountains.

About an hour of climb will reach to Poon hill viewpoint (3210 Meters). Enjoy the sunrise view over Dhaulagiri Mountain (8167m), Annapurna I Mountain (8091m), Annapurna II Mountain (7937m), Annapurna III Mountain (7855m), Annapurna IV Mountain (7525m), Annapurna South Mountain (729m), Nilgiri Mountain (6940m), Tukuche Mountain (6920m). After sunrise, return to the guest house in Ghorepani for an onward walk and then take the descending trail to Ghandruk Gurung village. Homestay in Ghandruk is a pleasant experience.

Hiunchuli, Fishtail and Gangapurna Mountains. Cross the forest of blooming rhododendron and reach Birethanti from where it takes the downhill walk and follow Modi Khola till reaching Nayapul from where you will meet the driver and will drive you back to your hotel in Pokhara in an hour and a half.
